8 Players Whose Stocks Are Moving in Week 9 (+ Buy Low/Sell High Candidates)

Two players rising, three falling, and Bhayshul Tuten is suddenly an RB1. Kendall Valenzuela, Dwain McFarland and Peter Overzet go through the fantasy football players whose utilization moved going into Week 9 — and what’s actually driving each one.

Jonah Coleman climbs to a high-end RB2, at least until RJ Harvey returns. And Bhayshul Tuten jumps all the way to a high-end RB1, which is a long way from where he started the season.

Going the other direction: Parker Washington falls to a mid-range WR2, and both Panthers receivers are sliding — Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker have nearly identical route participation and target share when healthy, and the comps for each point somewhere specific. Then an open question on what the utilization is actually saying about the Commanders’ pass catchers.

Then the part your league isn’t thinking about yet. Is Ashton Jeanty a buy low after weeks of declining usage? Is Ollie Gordon? Is Carnell Tate? And is Derrick Henry a sell high while the name still carries weight?

They also play Dwain-Libs on the thresholds that would move players again this week: what Jordyn Tyson becomes if he simply plays football, what snap share makes Breece Hall a borderline RB1, and what Detroit running 40% heavy personnel would do for Jameson Williams.

And they close with the moves to make before your league-mates get there — Dwain on Malik Willis, Pete on Devin Singletary.
